Hi Ibro,
I can only give information on the history of my family.
The surname Mehulic was invented by my ancestor Mehmed Muharamagic. For some reason at the end of 19th century he decided to change his surname and he invented a new one, Mehulic by using his nickname Meho.
Mehulics are Bosniaks of Muslim religion.
